Merdeka Gold Resources directors step down

Gold mining  firm PT Merdeka Gold Resources Tbk (IDX: EMAS) said three members of its board of directors have submitted their resignations, according to a disclosure to regulators.

The company said it received resignation letters on March 18 from Albert Saputro, David Thomas Fowler and Adi Adriansyah Sjoekri.

The resignations will be subject to approval at a general meeting of shareholders, in accordance with the company’s articles of association and Indonesian regulations.

The company said the resignations will only take effect after shareholders grant approval at the meeting, which will be held in line with applicable rules.
