Mermaid seals barge contract in Indonesia

Singapore-listed firm Mermaid Maritime Public Company Limited, the provider of rig drilling and sub-sea engineering services for the offshore oil and gas industry, said its unit, MTR-1 ( Singapore ) Pte. Ltd,. has secured a contract for accommodation barge support services in Indonesia.
The contract has a duration of around 5 months and has a potential value of US$4.8 million, said the Bangkok-headquartered company in a media statement.
The ?MTR-1? is presently in Indonesia, providing accommodation barge support services for the same client in a contract scheduled to end in September 2012. This new contract will commence back-to-back with the company?s existing contract for the ?MTR-1?.
