MHE Demag supplies cranes for Sidrap wind farm project

Manufacturing company PT MHE Demag Indonesia has obtained a contract to supply cranes for the power house of the 75 MW PLTB Sidrap wind power plant project in South Sulawesi.

MHE Senior Product Manager for Equipment Sales Division, Arie Christian told Petromindo.com on Wednesday that shipment of the crane will be made in January 2018.

He did not disclose the value of the contract, but said that the power plant will require at least two cranes with capacity of more than 40 tons. The average price of each crane is around Rp 8 billion.

Aside from crane for the power house, MHE has also recently offered cranes for maintenance of the Sidrap power plant.

The Sidrap power plant project, developed by PT UPC Sidrap Bayu Energi, is expected to be completed end of this year.
