MHU meets 2001 output target

Coal mining firm PT Multi Harapan Utama (MHU), which controls coal site in the Kutai Kertanegara regency in East Kalimantan, has managed to meet its 2001 coal output target of 1.5 million tons, according to company spokesman Obang.
He told Petromindo.com via phone that the company?s 2002 output target was set at 2 million tons.
The company has recently obtained license to expand mining site by around 20,000 hectare.
MHU exports around 80 percent of its coal output.(Godang)
