MIND ID buys back nearly 10% of Its 2050 bonds

PT Mineral Industri Indonesia (Persero), the state-owned mining holding company known as MIND ID, announced on Friday that it has repurchased and cancelled a portion of its 5.800% senior notes due 2050.

The company said on Thursday that it bought back around US$49.87 million of the bonds in open-market transactions. The amount represents 9.97% of the original principal of the series.
Following the cancellation of the repurchased notes, US$450.13 million of the bonds will remain outstanding, or about 90.03% of the initial issuance.
