Miner plans to develop Papua coal concession

Jakarta-based miner PT Transabara Coalindo Services is planning to develop its coal mining concession in West Papua.

The company said in an announcement on Saturday that it would carry out environmental study on the mine development plant.

According to the announcement, the company controls an area of 18,000 hectares in Teluk Bintuni regency.

The company did not give detail about production start and planned capacity. (alex)
