Minister, BP Migas and IPA to visit Bali

Minister of Energy and Mineral resources Purnomo Yusgiantoro together with BP Migas Chairman Rachmat Sudibjo and Indonesian oil and gas top executives grouped in Indonesian Petroleum Association (IPA) will visit Bali today and attend Bali Memorial Concert which will be held in remembrance of Bali bomb blast victims, a BP Migas senior official said.

?We will go to Bali to show that we care, not afraid and to participate in rebuilding Bali tourism industry,? said Sidick Nitikusuma, a senior BP Migas official.

Sidick said the entourage would also visit blast location.

The visit is part of government?s campaign to restore Bali tourism which had reached its lowest after Bali bombing, with foreign tourists visits down by 80 percent and crippling Bali?s once booming economy. (alex)
