Minister denies rumors on delaying mining liberation

Coordinating minister of ecocomic affairs Rizal Ramli denied on Tuesday rumors that government was planning to delay the implementation of the regional autonomy policy in the mining sector.

Rizal said the implementation of the policy was on track. But the implementation of the policy would be sincronized with the existing regulations.

Rizal did not give details.

The regional outonomy policy will be implemented Jan 2001. (R. Amoros)
