Minister hands out awards to contractors for using local products

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sudirman Said handed out awards on Friday to five PSC contractors for their performance in using local products and services in their operations in 2015.
The five contractors are JOB Pertamina Petrochina East Java, PT PHE WMO, Petrochina International jabung, Pearl Oil Sebuku and Husky-CNOOC Madura
During the event, the minister also launched a book called Local Product Appreciation Book (APDN) which is a catalog containing the list of local firms which provide services and products to support the oil and gas activities. The book contains the list of 477 service companies, 125 product providers with 1,189 types of products, the ministry said in a statement.
