Industry Minister MS Hidayat said that he would meet a group of Japanese businessmen this month to find a solution on trade dispute between Japan and Indonesia.
Japan accused Indonesia of dumping pulp and paper export with Jakarta threatening to stop supply of nickel to Tokyo.
?Japanese businessmen want to meet me to discuss the issue. The meeting will take place this month,? he told Petromindo.com without saying the exact day of the planned meeting.
Previously, Japan threatened to bring the alleged dumping of pulp and paper export to World Trade Organization (WTO).
Minister Hidayat denied the accusation and warned to cut supply of nickel if Japan brought the case to WTO.
Japan is one of the world's main importers of nickel including from Indonesia.
