Minister installs 431 senior officials

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sudirman Said on Wednesday installed 431 new senior officials at the ministry as part of reshuffle drive aimed at improving performance.

The ministry said in a statement that this is the largest reshuffle after similar move last month, when the minister installed 362 new officials.

The reshuffle includes 125 (15.9% of the total 431 officials) officials who are promoted, 137 internal rotation (17.4%), intra-unit rotation 24 officials (3.1%), and nomenclature change 145 officials (18.4%).

In addition, the ministry said there are four new organizations including Organization and Governance Bureau at the Secretariat General of the ministry, Directorate for Planning and Development of Oil and Gas Infrastructure, Directorate for Planning and Development of New and Renewable Energy Infrastructure, and Directorate for State Revenue from Mineral and Coal at the Directorate General of Mineral and Coal.
