Minister installs new officials for oil, gas and power

Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Purnomo Yusgiantoro installed Thursday several new officials handling the oil and gas and power affairs.

Maizar Rachman was installed as new secretary of Pertamina?s board of commissioners. He was the head of the oil and gas technology development and study center at the ministry-owned Lemigas research and development center.

Evita Herawati, who was the head of Lemigas? energy and electricity technology development and study center, has been appointed as the head of the agency?s oil and gas technology development and study center.

Suharto Satibi, who was the director of electricity program development, has been appointed as the new head of Lemigas? energy and electricity technology and study center.

Madrianto Kadri, head of the sub-directorate of electricity industry technology, has been appointed the interim director of electricity program development.

Bambang Supoyono, the secretary of the directorate general of electricity and energy development, will retire. He has been replaced by Ronggo Kuncahyo, the directorate general?s head of the program and report making section.

Technical director of oil and gas Soebijanto has been appointed as oil and gas exploration and exploitation director to replace Amri Muis, who recently passed away.

Wayan Suryana, who was the head of the installation and instrument safety sub-directorate, will temporarily fill Soebijanto?s former position as technical director of oil and gas. (Godang)
