Minister installs new oil and gas chief, other officials

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Ignasius Jonan officially installed on Wednesday Ego Syahrial as the new Director General of Oil and Gas in the latest reshuffle at the ministry. Ego, formerly head of the ministry?s Geology Agency, replaces IGN Wiratmaja Puja, who was moved to head the ministry?s Human Resources Development Agency.
The minister also installed 40 other new officials for high and middle-rank posts at the ministry.
Following is the list of nine new senior officials at the ministry.
