Minister issues decree on coal price for PLN

REGARDING THE PRICE OF COAL FOR PT PERUSAHAAN LISTRIK NEGARA(PLN) (PERSERO) IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE OPERATION OF COAL-FIRED POWER PLANTS.

First
The price of coal purchased by PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) (Persero) in the framework of the operation of coal-fired power plants from contracts of work of coal mining management and/or business license of mining operation of coal production shall be as high as the benchmark price of coal, which is effective when PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) (Persero) and companies holding contracts of work of coal mining maangement and business license of mining operation of coal production reach an agreement.

Second
The purchase of coal as meant in Dictum First shall also be applied to the need of coal-fired power plants having coal purchased at expense of PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) (Persero) and subsidiaries operating coal fired power plants.

Third
The agreed purchase price of coal as meant in Dictum First and Dictum Second shall be adjusted every 12 (twelve) months with the purchasing price of coal according to the benchmark price of coal upon the adjustment.

Fourth
The benchmark price of coal as meant in Dictum First and Dictum Third shall be stipulated by the Director General on behalf of the Minister.

Fifth
The ministerial decree shall come into force as from the date of stipulation. (ends)
