Minister launches ?ESDM One Map Indonesia? and ?Amora?

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Ignasius Jonan officially launched on Wednesday web-based information systems called ?ESDM One Map Indonesia? and Budget Realization Monitoring Application (also called Amora) to help bolster governance within the ministry.

The ministry said in a statement that the ESDM One Map Indonesia is a web-based information system displaying various thematic maps of information in the energy and mineral resources sector, which can be accessed via https://geoportal.esdm.go.id.

The statement said that the development of the ESDM One Map Indonesia forms part of efforts initiated by the ministry and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to improve coordination and supervision in the energy and mining sector through an integrated data system.

Meanwhile, Amora is a web-based application displaying data on budget implementation within the ministry and monitoring of the budget as well as monitoring of contracts on the procurement of goods and services.

In his remarks, Jonan said that the launching of the two web-based applications forms part of efforts to help create clean government, and bolster transparency particularly in the use of state budget.

He added that the applications are expected to help improve services provided by the various technical units particularly the directorate general of oil and gas, upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas, and the directorate general of coal and mineral.

?Until now, I often hear that the services are not fast enough, the work system is less effective. In particular, SKK Migas must become a good partner of (oil and gas) contractors (so they?re) able to work faster,? Jonan said.
