Minister says no plan to create Indonesia index on coal price

The government has no plan to issue Indonesia's own index of coal price, despite request from miners, Minister of Energty and Mineral Resources Jero Wacik said.

He said that the government would not make a new policy which he considered would just be a bother to the miners.

"No, there is no such plan. We can make rules, but they would not be that much that it would just hamper businessmen," he told Petromindo.com at the State Place.
