Minister selecting candidates for SKK Migas deputy positions

Minister of Energy and Mineral Reesources Sudirman Said is selecting candidates for deputy positions at upstream authority SKK Migas.

Sources said several names, mostly from inside of SKK Migas, have been proposed for the positions, inluding Ngatijan, Head of Survey and Exploration Drilling Division at SKK Migas; Nugraheni Head of the Division of Field Development Plan Realization Supervision at SKK Migas ;and Hery Margono Kepala Divisi Pengelolaan Rantai Suplai at SKKMigas.

It remains unclear which position they are going to fill in.

Currently, there are two deputy positions left vacant at SKK Migas, that is commercial deputy position, which was left vacant by Widyawan Prawiraatmadja, who has been appointed as Head of Performance Unit at the ministry; deputy chairman, wich has been left vacant by J. Widjonarko, who was dismissed from the agency recently.

When contacted, an official at SKK Migas? Supervisory Council said the council has yet to receive any list of names from the ministry.

?We?ve never heard of them (the names). What is clear is that for any deputy position, at least three names should be proposed by the ministry to the Supervisory Council,? the official, who wanted to remain anonymous, said.
