Minister to visit China next week

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources will visit China from Monday to Friday next week to further talk with the Chinese government on the country?s plan to buy liquefied natural gas (LNG), a senior official of the ministry said.
The expert staff for economic and financial affairs to the minister, Kardaya Warnika, told Petromindo. Com Friday that he and the secretary of the ministry?s oil and gas directorate, Waryono Karno, would accompany the minister during the visit.
He did no provide details on the persons the Indonesian delegation would meet in China.
The Chinese government has planned to buy three million tons of LNG annually, which is its LNG imports, and would hold an international tender for the purchase.
Indonesia is among the countries interested in participating in the tender. (Godang)
