Minister Wacik to open Coaltrans Asia conference

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Jero Wacik is slated to open Coaltrans Asia conference, dubbed as the world's largest coal conference, in Bali on Monday.
Over 2,000 delegates from 31 countries with dozens of exhibitors would take part in the two-day conference.
The annual conference would discuss among others meeting challenges around growth in Indonesia's coal sector, Indonesia's regulatory climate, unlocking infrastructure capacity in Indonesia's coal sector, coal procurement strategy, coal finance and investment and business of dry bulk shipping and freight.
Directorate General of Mineral and Coal Thamrin Sihite is scheduled to address the conference about the outline of policy strategy for Indonesia's coal industry while Central Kalimantan Governor Teras Narang would present the conference with coal production and infrastructure issues in the province.
