Ministers installs new officials

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Ignasius Jonan installed on Thursday 24 new ministry officials in a second reshuffle move since assuming the post on October 14.

Jonan said in a statement that the move forms part of efforts to refresh the ministry?s organization to help meet various targets as well as simplifying the bureaucracy. ?Yesterday, the President (Joko Widodo) said there are three challenges for us, one of which is bureaucracy. Let?s try to work practically,? he said at the inauguration ceremony as quoted by the statement.

Among of the 24 newly-installed officials include five senior echelon two officials: Endang Sutisna as Head of General Bureau at the Secretariat General of the ministry, Parlaungan Simatupang, Head of Center for the Management of State Assets at the secretariat, Budiyanto as Director for Oil and Gas Development Program at the ministry?s Directorate General of Oil and Gas, Halim Sari Wardana as Inspector I at the ministry?s Inspectorate General, and Zainal Arifin as Secretary of the ministry?s Human Resources Development Agency.
