Ministry approves Pasir block POD

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has approved the first plan of development (POD) of Pasir block in Paser Regency, East Kalimantan, operated by Pasir Petroleum Resources Ltd.
This was said by Upstream Director at the ministry?s Directorate General of Oil and Gas, Tunggal on Thursday. The Pasir block, which has proven reserves of 17 million barrels of oil, is planned to start production in 2019,
The Pasir PSC is located onshore East Kalimantan and covers an area of approximately 3,700 sq km. The PSC was awarded to Pasir Petroleum Resources Ltd in May 2009 for a 30-year term. Pasir Petroleum Resources Ltd has 100 percent interest in block.
