The Directorate General of New and Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources said it has completed a draft on national standard guideline in carrying out feasibility study (FS) in solar, micro hydro, and wind power plant projects.
The directorate general said in a statement Thursday that the draft has passed through deliberation process and is currently awaiting to be approved as Indonesia National Standard (or SNI).
The move to produce the national standard comes amid varying quality of FS in power plant projects in the country, the statement said. With the existence of the national standard, FS results are expected to have standardized quality.
The draft was prepared by a team of government officials, representatives of consumers, producers and experts last year.
