Ministry launches website on operation fitness of power facilities

The Directorate General of Electricity has launched a website containing information regarding power installations that have received operation-fitness certifacate (SLO).

The website?s address is slo.djk.esdm.go.id. It has been launched as part of the efforts to improve the public service of the power sector.

On the website, the public can see whether certain power installations have received the SLO certificates from Accredited Agencies for Technical Inspection or Agencies for Low Voltage Technical Inspection.

Under the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) Regulation No. 05/2014, all power installations should be checked by accredited agencies and the agencies would issue SLO certificate.

Accredited Agencies for Technical Inspection should issue SLO certificates on power generator installations, transmission and distribution lines for high and medium voltage within four days after they are declared as fit for operation; while Agencies for Low Voltage Technical Inspection should issue the certificate within two days after they are declared as fit for operation.
