Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources: Announcement 2nd petroleum bidding round year 2011

ANNOUNCEMENT
2nd PETROLEUM BIDDING ROUND YEAR 2011

Directorate General of Oil and Gas (MIGAS) releases 15 acreages for tender in the 2nd Petroleum Bidding Round Year 2011, and hereby invites interested companies with sufficient financial and technical capabilities to participate in the regular tender and direct proposal tender.

Followings are 9 blocks being offered in regular tender mechanism:

1. Kuningan Block, onshore West Java-East Java
2. Offshore South Java I Block, South Java Sea
3. Offshore South Java II Block, South Java Sea
4. Offshore South Java III Block, South Java Sea
5. South East Sageri Block, offshore South Sulawesi
6. East Abadi Block, offshore South Maluku
7. South West Salawati Block, offshore West Papua
8. West Berau Block, onshore West Papua
9. Kai Block, offshore Maluku

Additionally, based on the joint study which has been done between MIGAS and several companies, 6 blocks are being offered in the direct proposal tender mechanism, they are:

1. Kalyani Block, offshore Jambi & South Sumatra
2. South Baturaja Block, onshore South Sumatra & Lampung
3. North Baturaja Block, onshore, South Sumatra & Lampung
4. Kuala Pambuang Block, onshore Central Kalimantan
5. Tanjung Aru Block, offshore Makassar Strait
6. South East Seram, offshore Maluku

Interested companies are invited to participate and access Bid Document (One Bid Document correspond to 1 (one) block) issued by MIGAS. Accessing for regular tender?s Bid Document shall be made not later than February 20, 2012, whereas accessing for direct proposal tender?s Bid Document shall be made not later November 23, 2011.

Interested companies which consider being qualified and capable as required in this tender qualification and intend to participate in the tender shall submit their Participating Document on February 22, 2012 (for regular tender) and on November 24, 20ll (for direct proposal tender) between: 09:30-14:30 hours to this foliowin8 address:
