Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources officially launches two new websites

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources officially launched two new websites (portal) late on Thursday to help disseminate information regarding energy and mining sectors to the public.

The launching ceremony was attended by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Punomo Yusgiantoro, State Minister for Research Technology Hatta Radjasa and State Minister for Communications and Information Syamsul Ma?arif on Thursday.

The main objective of the two new sites ? www.esdm.go.id and www.mesdm.net -- will be to provide public access to information regarding the country?s energy sector and mineral resources.

Purnomo said that the two websites (www.mesdm.net and www.esdm.go.id) will publish news items, statements regarding his ministry's policies and links to websites of directorate generals at the ministry.(*)
