Ministry to create three new directorates

The ministry of energy and mineral resources will create three new directorates with each of them to be headed by a director.

The new directorates are directorate of oil and gas planning and development which will be placed under the directorate general of oil and gas; directorate of coal and mineral revenue at the directorate general of coal and minerals; and directorate of new, renewable energy and energy conservation (EBTKE) planning and development at the directorate general of EBTKE.

The ministry is selecting names to lead each of the directorate, the ministry?s Secretary General Teguh Pamudji said.

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sudirman Said stated that the three directorates will be focused on overseeing development full time.
