Ministry to launch ASEAN Mineral Database at AMMIN

Geology Agency at Indonesia's Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry will launch ASEAN Mineral Database Wednesday (today), at the completion of the 4th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Mineral (AMMIN).
?This database will be useful to identify among others the strength of each ASEAN member, who has what and the size of both supply and demand," said Sukhyar, the Head of the Geology Agency who also leads the Indonesian delegation at the 13th ASEAN Senior Official Meeting on Mineral (ASOMM) on Tuesday.
The database is a part of cooperation being forged by members of ASEAN in this sector for strengthened future partnerships.
Other forms of cooperation also being developed is the capacity building in the field of mineral, starting from exploration, exploitation, processing and environment protection.
