Mirach appoints new general manager for Indonesia unit

SGX-listed Mirach Energy Limited said that it has appointed Kholid Alatas as the General Manager of its Indonesian subsidiary Prisma Kampung Minyak Limited, which operates the Kampung Minyak oil field in South Sumatra under a joint operation agreement (KSO) with Indonesian state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina.

The company said in a statement Thursday that Kholid will oversee, strengthen its KSO operations in Indonesia, and further enhance its oil and gas asset portfolio.

Mirach said Kholid has a wealth of experience in managing production and geophysical operations in new and mature oil fields, as well as in enhanced oil recovery (EOR) fields, both in onshore and offshore projects. He also has extensive experience working with KSOs and PSCs (Production Sharing Contracts) in Indonesia.

Before joining Prisma Kampung Minyak Limited, Kholid worked as the General Manager at PT Benua Asia Energy and held key positions at ASAMERA, Gulf Resources, Pearl Energy and Salamander Energy, including that of an operation geophysicist, production and operations manager, HSE Manager and as a vice president of operations.
