Mirach commences drilling at Kampung Minyak

Mirach Energy Limited, Singapore-listed energy firm, announced that its subsidiary, PT Kampung Minyak Energy, has started drilling two new infill wells at its Kampung Minyak oil field in South Sumatra.
The first well being drilled is KM-600 and will be followed by well data analyses. This is expected to take three weeks before commencing on the drilling of a second infill well.
PT Daqing Jaya Petroleum Engineering, who is contracted to drill the wells, will target up to 470 meters for each well. This program aims to reach the Mioceneformations named Muara Enim and Air Benakat.
