Mirach spuds another well at Kampung Minyak

SGX-listed Mirach Energy Limited announced that it is spudding another new well, KM-602, at the Kampung Minyak Oil Field in South Sumatra on Wednesday (today). The targeted pay zone is S7 (Suban-7) oil layer, to a drill depth of 470 meters.
?This is the first of a batch of three new wells that are identified by our drilling team, following some modifications in drilling plans after the analysis of the production results at KM-607. The Company had just received the final approval for drilling these three new wells from Pertamina EP and the related authorities,? the firm said in a statement.
Upon the completion of drilling by PT Daqing Jaya Petroleum, PT Henan Petroleum (a unit of Sinopec) will be providing the mud logging services. The company will announce the results of the drilling when the drilling of the well is completed and when production has stabilized, the firm added.
