Mitra Energy to conduct drillings at Biliton in Q2

Mitra Energy Biliton Pte Ltd announced it plans to carry out drilling activities at its Biliton block at the second quarter next year.
Mitra Energy Biliton is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitra Energy Ltd, a privately-owned independent oil, gas exploration firm.
The drilling plan was detailed in a company?s tender announcement made available to petromindo.com on Wednesday.
The Biliton PSC covers an area of 1,302 km? and lies offshore West Java in water depths of less than 50m. The block contains the Biliton Basin, which has only three existing well penetrations.
Mitra acquired the Biliton PSC from Serica Energy and Nations Petroleum in April 2009.
