Mitra starts seismic at Sulawesi block

Privately-owned independent oil, gas exploration firm Mitra Energy Limited through its wholly owned subsidiary of Mitra Energy Limited on 11th November 2011 has commenced a 2D seismic data acquisition survey in the Bone PSC, offshore Sulawesi, using Gardline-GGV's "MV Duke".

Mitra operates the Bone PSC with 100% interest.

The 10,763 square kilometre Bone PSC was awarded to Mitra as a result of the Indonesian Petroleum 2010 First Bidding Round. The initial PSC work programme consists of the acquisition and processing of 1,500 line kilometres of 2D seismic data and re-processing of 1,000 line kilometres of vintage 2D seismic data available in the block.(romel)
