Mitrabahtera signs 5 year contract with Berau

PT Mitra Alam Segara Sejati (MASS), a subsidiary of IDX listed PT Mitrabahtera Segara Sejati Tbk, has reported to have entered into a Coal Transhipment Service Agreement at Muara Pantai Anchorage, East Kalimantan with PT Berau Coal on March 22.
As stipulated in the agreement MASS will be responsible to provide services of unloading coal from barges onto vessels by means of floating crane. Minimum guaranteed tonnage is at 3 million metric tons for the first year and 3.5 million metric tons per year for the remaining years up to the 5th year.
The agreement, valid for 5 years, will start from the operations commencement date. MASS however is still in the final process to start its operation.
The company did not provide detail of the contract value.
