Mitrabara signs 16,000-ton coal supply deal with Brooklyn

IDX-listed coal miner PT Mitrabara Adiperdana Tbk said it had on September 16 signed a second coal supply agreement this month with affiliated firm Brooklyn Enterprise Ltd.
Mitrabara said in a statement Friday that under the agreement, the company will ship two vessels of coal, each about 8,000 tons, to Brooklyn. The company, however, did not disclose the value of the transaction.
Mitrabara on September 10 signed a similar agreement with Brooklyn to supply about 50,000 tons of coal.
Mitrabara operates coal concessions in Malinau Regency, North Kalimantan. The firm aims to boost production to 4 million tons this year from 2.5 million tons last year. The company, part of Baramulti Group, and its subsidiary PT Baradimika Mudasukses has accumulative 43.1 million tons of coal reserves.
