Mitrabara signs coal transport agreement with affiliated firm

IDX-listed coal mining company PT Mitrabara Adiperdana Tbk said it had on July 29 signed a coal transport service agreement with affiliated firm PT Global Trans Energy International (GTEI).
Both companies are majority owned by PT Wahana Sentosa Cemerlang (WSC).
Mitrabara said in a statement Wednesday that under the one-year agreement, GTEI will provide barges and tug boats for the transport of the company?s coal.
Mitrabara operates coal concessions in Malinau Regency, North Kalimantan. The firm aims to boost production to 4 million tons this year from 2.5 million tons last year.
