Mitsubishi to go ahead with Donggi-Senoro LNG project

Japanese firm Mitsubishi Corp will go ahead with the Donggi-Senoro LNG plant project in Central Sulawesi despite the earthquake and tsunami recently hit Japan.
"Mitsubishi is committed to carrying on the project despite the natural disaster," Andi Karamoy, spokesman of PT DSLNG, the consortium comprising PT Pertamina, PT Medco Energi International and Mitsubishi, that builds the project.
DSLNG is preparing proof boring works to determine land structure, land clearing preparations and the construction of special ports which will take 18 months.
The LNG plant is expected to start commercial operation in the second semester of 2014, he said. (Godang)
