MJIS buys CPC from International Maritime

IDX-listed steel maker PT Krakatau Steel Tbk said its subsidiary company PT Meratus Jaya Iron & Steel (MJIS) had on August 3 entered into calcined petroleum coke (CPC) sale and purchase agreement with International Maritime and Trading Pte. Ltd (IMT).
The company said a recent financial report that the value of the contract amounted to US$275/MT at Banjarmasin Port with tonnage 128MT.
MJIS operates a smelter producing iron sponges. Krakatau holds a 66 percent interest in MJIS, with the remainder held by IDX-listed PT Aneka Tambang Tbk.
