MMB?s workers to return to Pertamina

As many as 18 workers at PT Medco Methanol Bunyu (MMB) in East Kalimantan are seeking reemployment at state oil and gas firm Pertamina, East Kalimantan-based Kaltim Post daily reported on Monday.

The workers insist they are not workers of MMB, but Pertamina?s employees.

However, they did not give clear reasons for seeking reemployment at Pertamina. ?There is no reason other than that we are still Pertamina?s workers and wish to return to the company,? one of the workers told the newspaper.

They aired their wishes in their meeting with MMB?s executives in Tarakan, East Kalimantan, on Saturday. (*)
