MME aims to commence coal production in Prabumulih next year

Coal mining company, PT Manambang Muara Enim (MME) its coal concession in Prabumulih, South Sumatra, is expected to start production next year.

Edi Wibowo, Director of MME told Petromindo.com that currently the company is currently conducting exploration activity at the concession, to be followed with feasibility study later this year. ?Hopefully, the result of the FS will be good so we can move to the production phase next year. But it will depend on the coal market condition," he said, adding that if the trend in the coal market is positive, then the production will be prioritized.

Edi said that the concession in Prabumulih covers about 5,000 hectares with the coal CV about 4,500 GAR.
