Coal mining company PT Manambang Muara Enim (MME) has allocated Rp 40 billion in budget for capital expenditure for this year

Operational Director Edi Wibowo told Petromindo.com recently that the funds will be mostly spent to cover operational expenses at its coal mine site in Tanjung Enim, Muara Enim regency, South Sumatra.

Some of the funds are allocated for the development of a loading station at Muara Enim as part of cooperation with PT KA Logistik, subsidiary of state owned railway firm PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI). Edi explained that MME will use the services of KA logistic for hauling coal from Muara Enim to Palembang.

?Hopefully starting next year, we will cooperate (KA Logistik) for coal hauling,? he said, adding that at present MME uses truck fleet for coal hauling from Muara Enim to Palembang over a distance of about 190 kilometers.
