MME in coal transportation deal with KAI

Coal mining company, PT Manambang Muara Enim (MME) has signed MoU with state railway firm PT KAI for hauling coal from Tanjung Enim, South Sumatra to Lampung with volume of 3-6 million tons per year.

Edi Wibowo, director of MME told Petromindo.com that the MoU has been signed earlier this month.

"The MoU has been signed a week ago, and is entering for engineering agreement,"he said adding that the loading station in Lampung area is till being discussed by both parties.

Edi explained that currently MME only producing about 80,000 to 90,000 ton per month from its concession in Tanjung Enim.
