MME produces 250,000 tons in Q1 2015

Coal mining company PT Manambang Muara Enim (MME) produced about 250,000 tons from its concession in Tanjung Enim sub-district, Muara Enim regency, South Sumatra in the first quarter of 2015.

Edi Wibowo, Director of MME told Petromindo.com on Wednesday that the coal was mostly sold on the domestic market.

?Only about 30,000 tons were exported, all to Cambodia,? he said.

He said the company still keeps unchanged its production target of about 1.2 million ton this year. Last year, the company was able to produce around 870,000 tons despite the sluggish market.
