Mobil Cepu changes name to ExxonMobil Cepu

US oil and gas company ExxonMobil Corp?s subsidiary Mobil Cepu Ltd, the co-operator of the Cepu block in East and Central Java, has changed name to ExxonMobil Cepu Limited.
The company also said in a statement on Wednesday together with its partner PT Pertamina EP Cepu, it is committed to develop the block.
President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono last week inaugurated new production facilities of the Banyu Urip field in the Cepu block that are able to increase the field?s oil production by 10,000 bpd to 40,000 bpd.
Cepu is expected to reach its peak production of 165,000 bpd next year.
