Mobil Cepu provides water tanks, agricultural assistance for C. Java, E. Java villagers

Mobil Cepu Ltd. (MCL), a subsidiary of oil and gas producing giant ExxonMobil Corp., has provided clean water tanks and financed a soy bean cultivation pilot project for people in Central and East Java where the company operates an oil block, the firm said in a statement.
MCL said it had donated 42 water tanks to drought-affected Cepu and six other subdistricts in Blora regency, Central Java.
Meanwhile, the soy bean cultivation pilot project which has received financial support from MCL is located in Bonorejo village in Ngasem subdistrict, East Java.
The Cepu oil block, operated by MCL under a technical assistance contract (TAC) with state oil and gas firm Pertamina, is located in an area belonging to Central Java and East Java provinces. (*)
