Mobil Cepu sponsors training in East Java

Oil company Mobil Cepu Ltd, an ExxonMobil subsidiary and Operator of the Cepu TAC in Central and East Java Provinces, sponsored over 60 people to participate in advanced vocational training. The people selected for these courses live in the 13 core villages around the Banyu Urip project area, in Kalitidu and Ngasem subdistricts of Bojonegoro Regency, East Java Province.

According to press release from the company, this action is being taken in cooperation with the Small and Medium Enterprise Training Center of Bojonegoro Regency, starting on April 28 and was scheduled to be completed by May 27, 2003.

Budiono, Vice President of Exploration for MCL, commented that the company would continue its longstanding efforts to assist neighboring communities with long-term development programs for the improvement of living standards in the area. (*)
