Mobil Oil gas facility attacked by grenade

The cluster IV gas well of PT Mobil Oil Indonesia (MOI) in Lhoksukon Aceh nearly exploded when an unidentified men attacked the facility twice with grenades in the middle of Tuesday night.
The Medan-based Waspada daily quoted a source as saying that the facility didn't explode because the grenade hit the security post, not the gas pipelines.
He said that if the gas facility exploded the whole Lhoksukon area and the Lhokseumawe area would be seriously affected.
Meanwhile, The Head of Information Bureau of Aceh Freedom Movement (GAM) Ismail Sjahputra denied responsibility of that attack. (*)
