MOF issues regulation on geothermal revenue split

Minister of Finance (MOF) Agus Martowardojo has issued a regulation on the mechanism to distribute the revenue split underpayment from geothermal production to the producing regions in the country.
The newly issued ministerial regulation No 91/PMK 07/2012 rules the mechanism to distribute the regions? revenue share underpayment from geothermal production for the 2010 budget year that is allocated from the amended 2012 state budget, said the ministry?s Communication and Information Services Bureau Chief Yudi Pramadi as reported by Investor Daily in Jakarta on Thursday.
According to the ministry, there is a total of Rp 24.5 billion worth of revenue from geothermal production for the 2010 budget year which have yet to be distributed to 26 regencies/mayoralties in West Java. (*)
