Benny Pasaribu, the deputy of the state minister for state enterprises and investment, said on Tuesday that the government might put more state plantation and mining companies in the privatization list in line with the increase in the state revenue target from the privatization program.

"As the revenue target from the privatization is increased to Rp 6.5 trillion from Rp 5.9 trillion initially, we will prepare more state plantation and mining companies to carry out an initial public offering," he told journalists.

He, however, refused to name which companies, which will be added to the privatization list announced by the government recently.

State Minister for State Enterprises and Investment Laksamana Sukardi said here recently that the government would sell between 20 percent to 30 percent stake in eight state companies this year. The companies include coal mining company PT Bukit Asam, general mining company Aneka Tambang, airport operator APT ngkasa Pura II and several state plantation companies. (*)
