MSJ aims to produce higher coal output

East Kalimantan coal miner PT Mahakam Sumber Jaya (MSJ), a coal unit of IDX-listed coal mining firm PT Harum Energy plans to produce around 10-11 million tons of coal this year from last year?s total output of 9.2 million tons, a company official told Petromindo.Com
As of March this year, MSJ was expected to produce around 2.2-2.5 million tons, the source said, adding that the figure is not final yet.
MSJ is a third generation of coal contract of work with estimated reserve as of December 2012 at 82.5 million tons. MSJ produces coal under brand name Tanito Coal with calorific value of 5,750 kcal/kg (GAR).
