MSJ on track to produce 9-10Mt this year

East Kalimantan coal miner PT Mahakam Sumber Jaya (MSJ), a coal unit of IDX-listed coal mining firm PT Harum Energy is expecting to meet this year?s coal output target of 9-10 million tons from last year?s total output of 8 million tons.
As of September this year, MSJ has produced 7.3 million tons, increased significantly from the same period of last year at 5.8 million tons.
?We are confident to meet this year's target, at least we can achieve 9 million tons,? the company?s source told Petromindo.Com.
MSJ is a third generation of coal contract of work with estimated reserve as of September 2012 at 84.4 million tons. MSJ produces coal under brand name Tanito Coal with calorific value of 5,750 kcal/kg (GAR).
